C1 vs CR vs RIC - Comparisions of output of PhaseOne's CaptureOne (C1) converter, Adobe's Camera Raw converter, and Canon's Raw Image Converter (RIC), Canon 1D images.

After using CaptureOne for about a month I was totally sold on the workflow advantages. But were the images at least as good? I did a series of comparisions to answer this question and was surprised by the results. 3.7.2003 updated with Adobe Camera Raw comparisions Note that these comparisions were done using shots from a Canon 1D. Results with other cameras may vary. 1.17.2004 Note that any references and here to ACR were done with the initial version (v1). With the release of Photoshop CS Adobe has also issued a new release of ACR which may address some issues.
